The Beautiful – an oil painting on canvas.

The composition centers on a female bust, rendered in intense, saturated shades of orange and yellow, making the skin appear to radiate an inner light. Soft chiaroscuro highlights the sculptural form of the body, transitioning from brilliant golds to deep, brick-like oranges within the contours of the figure.

This luminous phenomenon contrasts with a deep, dark background—hues of navy and violet—visible only on the left side. This asymmetry suggests the figure emerging from non-existence, from the night of the universe, toward a light whose source lies beyond the frame. The boundary between the warmth of the body and the coolness of the background is distinct, as if the darkness were slowly yielding to the heat of life.

The painting serves as a visual record of the primordial act of becoming. The female form, embodying the elements of fire and sun, stands as a symbol of consciousness emerging from the infinite, cold chaos of the void. The fact that darkness dominates only one side implies that existence is a continuous process of stepping out of the shadows—every moment of life is a victory of clarity over emptiness. Here, the body is not merely matter, but a burning spark that warms the boundless, navy-violet cosmos, imbuing it with meaning simply by virtue of its own existence.
